Hollywood Forever

2011

Hollywood Forever was a group exhibition featuring works by artists Tony Garifalakis, James L Marshall, Takeshi Murata & Christian Tedeschi with accompanying text by Robert Seitz. Curated by James L Marshall, the exhibition was titled after the Hollywood star cemetery and explored representations of death on the ‘big screen’. The exhibition included sculptural and wall works by Garifalakis, Marshall & Tedeschi and also screened the Australian debut of Murata’s “I, Popeye,” which premiered in 2010 in the exhibition ‘Free’ at the New Museum, New York.
